This is a super quick post just to say that I went to a 1910s/1920s Downton Abbey High Tea this past weekend. I’ve so missed getting all decked out in fun time period appropriate outfits and going out in public. I’m looking forward to getting more involved again this year in an old hobby of mine. So as a warning, expect more pictures of me in fun dresses in the upcoming year. 🙂

Sunday’s dress had to be altered before I could wear it though, so last week I was busy doing this:1920sdressalterationThis was not the first time this particular dress has been altered though. And very likely will not be the last (I don’t like the skirt fringe, but it was a last minute change and I didn’t have any more material on hand).

1920sdresschangesHere’s some of my cool “living historian” friends at the tea. 🙂
