- (OC) Heal Your Gut Summit by Eric Zielinski at Dr. Eric Z ($97.00)
Review: Coming Soon.
- Heal Your Microbiome Optimize Your Health by Dr. Jill Tieman at Real Food Forager ($5.95)
59 pages. I skimmed through about half of this book and had to put it away due to its fear-mongering. While, yes, gluten, vaccines, the standard american diet, and dental fillings may in fact affect a delicate microbiome – it was freaking me out too much to think of all the ways in which I fail as a person and a mother and I couldn’t get through it, ha ha. So I didn’t get to the ending to actually see how to heal your microbiome or if there was a redemptive ending to it all.
- Healing Patiently by Chloe Breczinski at How We Flourish ($30.00)
100 pages. This is a basically a complete guidebook for starting a GAPS diet. I thought it was laid out very nicely and was easy to read. This would be a good book for anyone considering a GAPS diet. However, though it felt like a worhtwhile book, I’m not sure if it’s worth $30.
- Juicing the Right Way by Cameron & Erin Smith at Eat Real, Stay Sane ($17.00)
Review: Coming Soon.
- **Stress Solutions by Evan Brand at Not Just Paleo ($24.00)
73 pages. I’m not sure if this book is worth $24 (I tend to think that all books should be in the $10-$20 range, ha ha). I’m about 20 pages in so far and I’m definitely going to come back and finish this at a later time. Right now I’m too ‘stressed’ to read it, as I’m rushing to get this post to a place where I can post it early tomorrow morning. Who me? Try to do too many things and always scrambling and stressed? Nah, not me! 🙂
- The Eczema Cure by Emily Bartlett at Holistic Squid ($29.95)
Review: Coming Soon.
- **Beauty’s Dirty Secret: 3 Simple Steps To Super Power Your Skin by Trina Felber at Primal Life Organics ($8.99) – 188 pages. Basically, if you’ve already decided to switch to natural beauty products, then this book will be a nice affirmation of your choice. However, if you’re more of an “everything in moderation” type of person, OR if you’re pregnant and worry easily, then eek, this book might not be for you. Basically, everything in every skin care product is poison. You need to detox and eat paleo. And you should buy Primal Life Organics.
